A smallest network may be a connection having two terminal communicating each other. NODE-A(human) and NODE-B(God) are those two terminals. THERE MAY BE THREE WAYS TO COMMUNICATE: 1. SIMPLEX : only one can send and other can receive.(like tv remote) 2. HALF DUPLEX: both can send and receive but one at a time.(like walkie-talkie) 3. FULL DUPLEX : both can send and receive data at same time.(like cellphone) In all above cases, connection between both the devices exists but communication depends on the device capabilities.
